Step 1

First Aid is pretty much essential. But don't overlook this as a study tool during your regular classes as well. Lots of great mnemonics, charts, etc. 5 out of 5 stars.

UWorld Qbank, obviously.

Picmonic is by far the most useful resource I've discovered so far. It's outstanding if you're an auditory, visual or kinesthetic learner (or all 3, like me). They have their topics organized by First Aid page number (see below), which makes it even easier to use. Although it's designed specifically for Step 1 prep, I'm already using Picmonic for my first year classes (it's extremely helpful for Micro). They're also a fairly new company (relative to First Aid), so they have some very competitive pricing going on (at least right now). And they have excellent customer service. Very highly recommend. 10 out of 10. Strongly recommend.

Firecracker is great to use as you go through 1st & 2nd year. I wish I had known about it last year (if it already existed?). You basically check off topics as you cover them in lecture & then quiz yourself on an ongoing basis to make sure you see the material several times. It is truly effective.
